Privacy
Plain language, no dark patterns. This explains what the helperly.org website does with information. Last updated June 13, 2026.
The short version
- We don't sell your data. Ever.
- We don't run third-party advertising trackers on this website.
- We only collect what you choose to send us through a form.
What we collect
Messages you send. When you use the support, suggestion, waitlist, or donation-interest forms, we receive what you type — which may include your name and email if you provide them. These are stored as tracked tickets so we can respond and follow up.
Spam protection. Forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-respecting alternative to traditional CAPTCHAs. It helps us tell humans from bots without profiling you across the web.
Basic, privacy-respecting analytics. We may use aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful. This is configured to minimize personal data and is never sold or used for ads.
Server logs. Like all websites, our hosting provider records standard request information (such as IP address and timestamp) briefly, to keep the site secure and reliable.
About the apps. This page covers the helperly.org website. The apps have their own privacy information; note that the free versions are ad-supported through Google AdMob, which applies its own ad tracking. Helperly itself does not sell your data, and the paid upgrade removes ads.
What we don't do
- No selling or renting of personal information.
- No cross-site advertising trackers or data brokers.
- No hidden mailing-list sign-ups — you opt in explicitly.
How long we keep things
We keep ticket and contact information only as long as needed to help you and to keep records of suggestions and requests. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Use the support form and we'll take care of it.
Children
This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children through it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
